Wassim needs help, legal fees & comfort in prison

Dear comrades,

if you have been following up with the story, Wassim the guy that stood up for me when the police brutally & absurdly arrested me is laying now since more than a month in prison. Police is claiming that he is a threat to “social security” without providing any concrete evidences.

Wassim has to wait for the judge to bring him to court to decide what to do with his case, this might take weeks if not months. When he first arrived to prison he was brutally assaulted by other inmates and had to spend time in the prison hospital.

Wassim is 24 from Gaza and has been suffering immensely lately, and on top of that he has to spend his time in prison.

We, a team that has gathered ourselves to support Wassim are creating this fundraising campaign to help Wassim during these tough times by making his stay in prison a bit more comfortable, getting him books, clothes, shoes a watch and a some pocket money. Today he called me and insisted for us to bring him a Palestinian flag as well.

On top of that, we are raising money to cover up all the legal fees he needs to get the fuck out of prison.

It has been a tough time for us all, people of the global south, here in Germany and the least we can do is stand for eachother and our community.

Any leftover money will go to legal support of the comrades arrested in Berlin & the support of the Palestinian community in Berlin.
